Get TikTok access token
Since version 2.0 you will find a new tab called Accounts. In it, you have to perform the validation of the new API with the user account.
In order to obtain the feed videos, it is necessary to get the access token. Please follow the API permissions request process.
- First of all you have to click on “Add TikTok Account”.
- Then you will be redirected to Quadlayers site, and you have to click on the “Login with TikTok” button.
- If you are logged in to TikTok in your browser, TikTok will ask you for authorization. You have to click on Authorize.
- If you are not logged in, you will be redirected to the official TikTok site to log in:
There, you have to authorize TikTok to access your account.
How to display multiple accounts?
To include multiple TikTok Accounts you have to install the premium version of the plugin.
TikTok Feed PRO allows you to display feeds from different TikTok accounts.
To add new accounts, follow these steps:
- Go to your TikTok account in your browser and log out.
- Go to the account tab in WordPress and press the Add account button.
- Then, set a new connection (generate a new token) using your credentials from TikTok.
Please note that you must log out from TikTok in your browser before you generate a new token. Otherwise, you will get a message saying that your account is already connected.
