5. Create an invoice template
To create an invoice, click on “Edit” in the header of the invoice page.
In the editor, the layout mirrors the familiar structure used for creating a post in WordPress, but it is enhanced with additional controls designed for invoice creation.
The editor comes with a default template that includes predefined blocks designed to display order information. These blocks are strategically organized to present all relevant details clearly and efficiently.
In the header of the editor, there are three new selectors:
Placeholder selector: adjust the order temporarily for testing purposes. Be aware that this modification is just a placeholder and won’t impact invoice template creation.
Invoice Selector: Adjust the general template settings, such as paper size (A4, legal, or letter), orientation, and currency display to choose between showing the local currency or the universal currency symbol ($).
PDF Preview: Switch between displaying the paper style layout and the default view of the WordPress editor.
